A Mom and Pop with a truck full of cruisers
Tybee Island Bike Rentals is small, local, and family run. We answer our own phone, we load our own truck, and we keep our own bikes tuned. That's the whole operation, and we like it that way.
Why we deliver
Parking on Tybee in July is its own kind of misery. Driving to a rental counter, waiting in line, then riding a bike home through beach traffic makes a vacation feel like an errand. Bringing the bikes to you removes all of it — which is why free delivery and pickup has been how we work from day one.
Why cruisers
You don't need gears, suspension, or a bike that makes you lean forward. You need a comfortable seat, a basket for your towel, a cup holder, and a frame that lets you put your feet down. That's what we stock, and it's why riders who haven't been on a bike in twenty years are fine in the first block.
We keep them running
Every bike gets checked between renters — brakes, tires, chain, seat height. If something goes wrong mid-rental, that's on us: call and we'll come out with a wrench or a replacement bike.

Cancer will not beat us
This one means something to our family. We are fighting our own fight, but we pray to God and put our trust in Him.
